[NEWS] BIGBANG to attend Singapore’s “Celebrate SG50 Countdown Show” on New Year’s Eve

Despite not having album promotional tours in South Korea this year, BIGBANG is confirmed to perform for Singapore’s Celebrate SG50 Countdown Show on New Year’s Eve.

According to Channel News Asia, BIGBANG will be joining other top artists such as Siti Nurhaliza from Malaysia, Stefanie Sun from Singapore, along with other 60 artists on Singapore’s Celebrate SG50 Countdown Show on December 31st.

YG Entertainment announced that BIGBANG successfully kicked off their “BIGBANG JAPAN DOME TOUR 2014～2015 ‘X’ ”, which is Japan’s 5 Largest Dome Tour they hold for 2 years in a row for the first time as foreign artists.

Kick started in Nagoya Dome on Nov 15, the concert was opened by YG’s newest boy group formed on the survival program “MIX & MATCH,” the 7 members of iKON. The 7 boys performed ‘LONG TIME NO SEE’ and ‘SINOSIJAK’ that they showcased in the final episode of MIX & MATCH. At a Korea-China-Japan fan meeting, iKON was greeted enthusiastically by the Japanese fans in Osaka, attracting 40,000 of them. And the new group once again proved their popularity at BIGBANG’s concert as the fans cheered them on powerfully.

[NEWS] BIGBANG surveyed to be the #1 ranked K-Pop artists in Japan for 2014

After an overall calculation of their Japanese activities over the course of this past year, BIGBANG has been ranked the #1 K-pop artist to promote in Japan in 2014!

On November 7th, Sports Donga revealed that South Korean band, BIGBANG, had the largest cumulative attendance at their concerts in 2014, naming them “the best Korean artists of 2014.”

According to the December issue of monthly Japanese magazine, Nikkei Entertainment, BIGBANG gathered over 927,000 fans total during their 29 concert stops in Japan, placing them at 2nd place following the Japanese rock band Exile who accumulated a total of 1,053,000 fans during their 31 concert stops.
