It has been turned out that G-DRAGON and TAEYANG of BIGBANG are the two artists to take part in ‘YG HIPHOP PROJECT 1.’
YG posted a picture of TAEYANG on the ‘YG HIPHOP PROJECT1′ poster at its official blog (www.yg-life.com) at midnight Tuesday. The poster also has a specific date and time, saying ‘PROJECT 1: 2014. 11. 21. 0AM.’
YG’s hip hop project created a buzz on Monday, when the agency disclosed that G-DRAGON was first in line to get involved.
G-DRAGON and TAEYANG have been very close friends since they first met at age 13. As the initial members of BIGBANG, the synergy between the two artists is expected to be stronger than that of any other possible pair. G-DRAGON worked with TAEYANG when he released his full-length album ‘RISE’ in June this year. The two artists worked together on ‘STAY WITH ME’, ‘RINGA LINGA,’ and many other songs. At the moment, they are on BIGBANG’s dome tour in Japan.
Following this collaboration between G-DRAGON and TAEYANG, YG is scheduled to showcase ‘YG HIPHOP PROJECT2’ at midnight on Dec. 2nd, where three musicians are going to take part.
