G-Dragon and Taeyang. The two members of top boy band Big Bang, also top stars who hold world tour concerts, once had hard times too. For five years, a long or short period of time, the two shared joys and sorrows as YG Entertainment’s trainees. In those days, Taeyang and G-Dragon buried themselves into everyday training, wondering about and looking forward to what their future will be like. And now, in September 2013, the two are now fiercely competing with one another, as mentors of two teams of YG’s new trainees who are dreaming of debut as YG’s new boy band eight years after the debut of Big Bang.

Superstar G-Dragon and Taeyang, members of popular boy band Big Bang, were once YG trainees.
In “WHO IS NEXT : WIN” (“WIN”), a survival show to select YG Entertainment’s new boy band, which was aired on the 20 on Mnet, Taeyang and G-Dragon appeared as producers of Team A (Gang Seung Yoon, Lee Sung Hoon, Song Min Ho, Kim Jin Woo, and Nam Tae Hyun) and Team B (B.I, Goo Jun Hwe, Kim Jin Hwan, Bobby, Song Yoon Hyung, and Kim Dong Hyuk).
