[NEWS] GD Says in “Happy Together”, “For Success as Musician, Talent Comes before Will”

In “Happy Together”, G-DRAGON said that talent and aptitude are more important for success as a musician, than resolution and will.

KBS 2TV’s “Happy Together 3″ aired on the 21 was a “BIGBANG special edition”. All the members of BIGBANG including “G-DRAGON, TAEYANG, T.O.P, DAESUNG, and SEUGRI appeared in the show, to boast their sense of humor and wit as a idol group who celebrates the 10th anniversary of their debut this year.

In the show, MC Park Myung-soo asked if it is better to start musical career early to be like G-DRAGON.

G-DRAGON answered, “I began at the age of 13. At that time, YANG HYUN SUK said I must write two songs every day. I did that for years.”

Then G-DRAGON added, “I think you should have your own talent, rather than just starting early. It is important to understand your own aptitude first. Of course a will to be musician is also important, but you have to have the right talent.”
