G-DRAGON topped Inkigayo for 3 weeks in a row.
On SBS’s Inkigayo aired on Sept 29, G-DRAGON, the nominee for #1 prize with his title song ‘Crooked’, won the competition against Kara and Soyu & Mad Clown,
On Sept 15 he accomplished the same success with ‘Coup d’etat’ while on 22nd with ‘Crooked’, leaving the record of topping 2 weeks in a row. And today he rewrites his own record by ranking #1 with ‘Crooked.’ The triple crowned G-DRAGON had another opportunity to sweep the charts for 3 consecutive weeks on Sept 26 on a cable channel Mnet’s M Countdown.
G-DRAGON commented, “I thank YG family and my parents. I thank VIP (BIGBANG’s fan club) and other artists. I thank everyone!”
In the latest performance on Inkigayo he showcased ‘R.O.D’, one of the songs from his 2nd album. 2NE1’s CL accompanied him on stage to cheer him on, showing the friendship between the two. The two, dressed in khaki outfits, left the audience awestruck with their powerful rapping and charisma.
Apart from G-DRAGON, other artists including Kara, FT Island, Soyu & Mad Clown, Seong Ji Eun, Teen Top, Spica, BtoB, Bangtan Boys, Nu’est, AA, Airplane, G.IAM, Kim Ye Rim and Wassup appeared on the show to deliver dynamic performances.
