[NEWS] GD TO FIRE UP CHINA AS HE JOINS JACKIE CHAN’S CONCERT & SHANGHAI MUSIC FESTIVAL


G-DRAGON is more than ready to fire up China.

He will be joining Jackie Chan for his concert on Sept 30 in Hangzhou and will also perform at a large-scale concert in Shanghai on Oct 2.

On Sept 30 in Hangzhou at Hwangrung stadium, the world-famous Jackie Chan will be holding a concert to celebrate his starring in the 100th film and to fundraise for the victims of the Sichuan earthquake. He will be joined by 2,3000 fans.

G-DRAGON will be performing at the concert alongside Hong Kong’s super stars including Nicholas Tse and Joey Yung, China’s goddess Yang Mi, the winner of ‘Super Voice Girls’ Li Yuchun, and Jackie Chan’s son Jaycee Chan.

The related personnel of the concert explained, “We invited G-DRAGON in particular because we believe his popularity is borderless and he is an artist spotlighted around the world.”

SHANGHAI W-BANK MUSIC FESTIVAL, which is China’s only large-scale global music festival celebrating its 2nd anniversary, will be held at Xuhui Riverside on Oct 2.

Last year 60,000 visitors came to the music festival. This year, it will be held for 3 days starting from Oct 1, and G-DRAGON will make an appearance on Oct 2, which is on the 2nd day of the festival.

Cui Jian, the father of rock who tried the genre for the first time in China will be joining the concert along with China’s top band May Day and Luo Dayou, the producer who made tens of hit songs. This already shows how magnificent the concert is going to be. Many music fans are expected to join the concert as well.

Meanwhile, G-DRAGON is sweeping the music world with 4 of his songs from his 2nd regular album that he released for the first time in 4 years. He is arousing much attention with an unprecedented record.
