[NEWS] BIGBANG Tops Online Charts for Three Consecutive Weeks

BIGBANG has dominated Korea’s major online weekly charts for as much as three weeks in a row.

According to chart results released in the afternoon of January 2, “FXXT IT”—one of the title tracks of BIGBANG’s third regular album “MADE THE FULL ALBUM”—took the no.1 spot on the weekly charts of Soribada, Monkey3, and Melon, which is Korea’s biggest music streaming website. The song also ranks high on the charts of other online charts, reflecting the group’s huge popularity.

BIGBANG becomes no.1 on Inkigayo following last week although the show wasn’t aired that week.

On SBS’s Inkigayo that aired at 12:10 PM on January 1, BIGBANG’s “FXXK IT” won against its “LAST DANCE” and Bolppalgan Puberty’s “Tell Me You Love Me” and took the no.1 spot in the first week of 2017.

After being announced as the winner, G-DRAGON said, “I’m happy to win the trophy on the first day of 2017″. TAEYANG said, “I’d like to thank the YG staff, our fans, and the members.” T.O.P said, “After our appearance on next week’s Inkigayo, it will  be difficult to see all five of us together for the time being. Idol group BIGBANG’s new song “FXXK IT” took two No.1s on Gaon’s weekly charts.

According to Gaon Chart on December 29, BIGBANG’s “FXXK IT” took two No.1s on Gaon’s charts for the 52nd week of the year 2016: digital chart and on-line streaming chart.

Following BIGBANG’s “FXXK IT”, CRUSH’s “Beautiful” took the second place; Bolbbalgan4’s “Tell Me You Like Me”, the third; CHAN YEOL and Punch’s “STAY WITH ME”, fourth; and BIGBANG’s “LAST DANCE”, fifth.

December has become the month of BIGBANG as everyone expected.

After the release of their third full album on December 13 eight years after the second full album, “FXXK IT” and “LAST DANCE”, the double title tracks of the new album, are sweeping No.1 and No.2 on music charts.

As T.O.P will join the police for his mandatory military service in February next year, fans will not able to see the complete team of BIGBANG for a few years.
