BIGBANG has proved their formidable pull in Japan.
BIGBANG is ranked 8th in the number of paying audience for concert in Japan, which was recently calculated by Nihon Geizai newspaper (among concerts held until October, 2015).
In terms of the absolute number of audience, BIGBANG drew 708,000 people to their concerts, which made the team get ranked in the 8thplace. However, considering the fact that the number of concerts given by BIGBANG is the smallest at 14 out of all the singers ranked within top 10, BIGBANG practically takes the top place on the list.

Idol group BIGBANG will appear in “2015-2016 Hunan TV new year’s concert” on December 31, to present performances that will mark the end of the year 2015 to 1.1 billion Chinese viewers.
“Hunan TV new year’s concert” to be held at the Beijing National Gymnasium will be broadcasted nationwide in China. [NEWS] For the 1st Time in 9 Years, G-DRAGON Gives a Song to another Group – iKON
G-DRAGON, a member of BIGBANG and the main producer of the group’s music, gave one of his songs to another group for the first time in nine years. And that group is the BIGBANG’s label mate iKON.
On December 19, a poster was uploaded on YG Entertainment’s official blog. According to the poster, a song titled “I MISS YOU SO BAD” is going to be on iKON’s debut album, and the song’s lyrics are written by G-DRAGON, B.I, and BOBBY, and its music is made by G-DRAGON and DEE.P. This came as a surprise as G-DRAGON has almost never written a song for another group before.

BIGBANG will not perform in this year’s end-of-year music awards of three major public TV networks.
According to a high-ranking official from YG Entertainment on the 16 this month, BIGBANG will concentrate on preparation for their new album rather than performing in the music awards of the three major public TV networks, to keep their promise to fans. BIGBANG’s official Facebook page received 10,007,486 likes, the biggest number of likes among Korean groups.

It has been decided that BIGBANG will be holding an additional concert for their Japan Dome Tour.
