BIGBANG’s Facebook account surpassed ten million likes.
BIGBANG’s official Facebook page received 10,007,486 likes, the biggest number of likes among Korean groups.
At 8 AM on December 12, YG Entertainment uploaded a poster that featured BIGBANG’s image and the phrase “THANK YOU 10,000,000 LIKES” on BIGBANG’s Facebook page to thank the fans.
BIGBANG getting more than 10 million likes was especially meaningful as it happened on SEUNGRI’s birthday. This record will be a huge present for SEUNGRI, whose birthday is on December 12.
YG also wished SEUNGRI a happy birthday by uploading a poster of YG SEUNGRI looking upbeat on their official blog (www.yg-life.com) at 12 AM on December 12.
In the poster, SEUNGRI is wearing casual clothes and sunglasses and looking excited as if he is on a roller coaster ride. The poster also has the phrase “HAPPY BIRTHDAY SEUNG RI/FROM.YG”.
Meanwhile, BIGBANG is on a Japan dome tour, and their concert in Nagoya on December 6 was a huge success. They next concert will be held at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka in January next year.
