[INTERVIEW] What’s Next for K-Pop’s Big Bang?
K-Pop superstars Big Bang descended onto Hong Kong Friday night for the Mnet Asian Music Awards. The past year has been one of solo pursuits for members of the group, which meant Big Bang wasn’t up for any awards. But G-Dragon, the group’s leader, racked up four awards, including best male artist and artist of the year.
The Wall Street Journal caught up back stage for a few minutes with three members from the group — G-Dragon, Taeyang and Seungri — ahead of Friday night’s awards ceremony.

South Korean pop star G-Dragon won four awards, including the artist of the year honor, at the 2013 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) in Hong Kong.
Honors mostly remained close to home at the local equivalent of the MTV Music Video Awards, which this year featured such international artists as Stevie Wonder.

[2013 MAMA] G-DRAGON BIGGEST WINNER - RECEIVES 4 AWARDS
Cho Yong Pil, G-DRAGON and Exo stood shoulder to shoulder at the 2013 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) by winning the Grand Prizes of the event. It was especially meaningful for G-DRAGON as he received three other rewards, making him a winner of four prizes in total.
Held at the Asia World Expo in Hong Kong on Nov 22, the 2013 MAMA called on many K-Pop artists who boast global popularity as awardees. The artists expressed their gratitude and happiness by delivering dynamic performances, which was also a way of repaying the fans’ infinite support and cheering.
[NEWS] INFINITE CHALLENGE’S PD STUNNED BY BIGBANG’S STAGE
Producer Kim Tae Ho of the TV program, ‘Infinite Challenge’, was simply electrified by BIGBANG’s staggering performance on the 2013 Mnet Asia Music Awards (MAMA).
Producer Kim, on his Twitter account on Nov 23, tweeted a short but powerful message, “SHOCK!! Team United!” The comment is referring to YG’s BIGBANG’s stunning performance as a group on the 2013 MAMA, which was held on Nov 22 in Hong Kong.

Although G-Dragon, Paris Hilton, and boxing don’t seem to have anything in common, the photos revealed by the American heiress seem to include all three.
On November 23, Paris Hilton uploaded two photos on her Instagram with the message, “Ringside at the #PacquiaoVSRios fight with @xxxibgdrgn.#TeamPacquiao.” What caught people’s attention was that the man posing next to the heiress was none other than BIG BANG’s G-Dragon.

[NEWS] G-Dragon to attend Pacquiao - Rios Boxing bout in Macau
After attending the 2013 MAMA in Hong Kong, G-Dragon will make the short trip over to Macau to attend the highly anticipated boxing match between Manny Pacquiao and Brandon Rios.
It appears he will be a special guest at the superfight and the official Facebook page of the Venetian Macao posted the following message:

[NEWS] BIGBANG's Performance is the best one minute of 2013 MAMA highest rating
The 2013 Mnet Asia Music Awards (MAMA) recorded a viewing rate slightly higher than last year.
According to TNmS on Nov 23, an institution that measures the viewing rate, the 2013 MAMA aired on Nov 22 recorded 4.872% (Mnet 1.497%, KM 0.352%, O’live 0.461%, XTM 0.735%, On Style 0.280%, tvN 0.787%, Story on 0.760%) out of all the households registered for cable channels. This is a 1.325% point increase from last year’s 3.547%.
