BIGBANG’s potential that has formidably exploded upon their comeback was something that nobody could surpass.
On May 1 at 0 o’clock, “LOSER” and “BAE BAE”, the title tracks of “M” project, were unveiled. “M” is the first project of BIGBANG’s comeback project “MADE SERIES”. BIGBANG has come back after three years of absence, with the new album.
“LOSER” and “BAE BAE” are sweeping music charts and search engines upon their release. Beginning from Korea’s biggest music-streaming website Melon, “LOSER” and “BAE BAE” dominated the first and second places in 10 music charts of Olleh Music, NAVER Music, Daum Music, Mnet, Soribada, Genie, Bugs Music, Monkey 3, and Cyworld Music.
Among the two, “LOSER” is showing bigger power on charts. The song expresses the story of a man who calls himself a loser, with a sentimental melody. In its lyrics, a phrase “loner, coward, troublemaker, idiot, garbage” is repeated. SEUNGRI sings the repeat part of “LOSER”, expressing it easy to understand and sing along.
“BAE BAE” is closely following “LOSER”. The song’s unique lyrics and chorus express a passionate confession of love. It could be also seen as BIGBANG’s confession of love for fans.
Under the title of “MADE SERIES”, BIGBANG will release a project single album with more than one songs on the 1 of every month until August. On September 1, full-length album “MADE” that includes all the songs released until then will be unveiled.
