[NEWS] BIGBANG, Powerfully Dominates 9 Charts for Two Days Straight
BIGBANG boasted its power by topping the charts of Korea’s nine major online music service sites for two consecutive days.
BIGBANG’s ‘Loser,’ which was released on the 1st recorded 1st in the Real-Time Charts of nine online music service charts, including Korea’s biggest online music site Melon along with Bugs, Genie, Mnet, Olle Music, Monkey3, Soribada, Naver Music, and Daum Music, as of 8 A.M. on May 2nd (KST).
The song ‘Bae Bae,’ which was also released on the same day as ‘Loser,’ rose to 2nd place in the charts of eight of them, excluding Monkey3, leading a two-pronged success.
As soon as the songs were released, BIGBANG dominated Korea’s major online music sites and also dominated the trending search words charts of Korea’s major portal sites. Moreover, ‘Loser’ not only dominated the Korean music charts but also topped the iTunes Singles Chart in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, and Brunei, while also proving its global popularity by ranking in 46th in Canada, 56th in the home of Pop music, the U.S., and 74th in the U.K.
BIGBANG’s music video is also met with fervent response. The music video of ‘Loser’ is attesting BIGBANG’s power as it recorded 5.76 million hits on Youtube as of 8 A.M. on May 2nd (KST).
Meanwhile, BIGBANG presented the ‘M’ Project, which is the beginning of the ‘MADE SERIES,’ by the recent releases, and will be releasing single albums with one or more tracks on the 1st day of each month of four months until August. Moreover, the group will release the album called “Made” on September 1st.
Furthermore, starting with the Seoul concert held in April, BIGBANG will hold 70 concerts in some 15 countries in Asia, the Americas, and other regions in their World Tour that will continue until 2016, meeting with some 1.4 million fans around the world.
BIGBANG will be reuniting with their fans who have been waiting for BIGBANG’s illustrious performance as they start their TV appearances through SBS ‘INKIGAYO.’
