BIGBANG’s new song ‘Loser’ is climbing up the U.S. iTunes music chart.
According to the iTunes charts, ‘Loser,’ which BIGBANG released at 0 hour on the 1st, ranks at 40th in the Hot 100 Singles chart.
Not only in the U.S., the song is also ranking 1st in ten different countries around the world including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, and Brunei. It is gaining global popularity as it also ranks 46th in Canada, 56th in the U.S., the home of pop music, and 74th in the U.K.
BIGBANG is also gaining an eye-catching amount of attention from the Great China Region. BIGBANG ranked in 1st and 2nd in the K-Pop category of QQ Music, China’s biggest online music store, with the number of downloads at around 110,000 and it is still rising. Also, keywords related to BIGBANG, such as “BIGBANG,” “LOSER,” “BAEBAE,” “MADE,” became the top four keywords in the Hot Issues section of Weibo, a Chinese social networking service, confirming the group’s local popularity.
BIGBANG’s new release ‘Loser,’ which was released at 0 hour of May 1st topped the Daily Charts of Korea’s major online music services, including Melon, Mnet, Bugs, Olle, Genie, Naver Music, Daum Music, and Soribada. Also another one of their new releases called ‘Bae Bae’ further proved BIGBANG’s power in the Korean music market by ranking in 2nd. BIGBANG is dominating the trending keywords chart of Korean portal sites. BIGBANG has gained attention after the release on the 1st, as keywords such as “BIGBANG,” “BIGBANG LOSER,” BIGBANG BAEBAE,” rose as the most searched keyword or became one of the top 10 search words.
BIGBANG will be releasing an album with one or more tracks on the first day of each month for four months until August, and the album called “Made” will be released on September 1st.
