[NEWS] BIGBANG returns ‘together’ but ‘separately’

The 5-member boy band BIGBANG is once again walking the same path ‘together’ but also ‘separately’. G-DRAGON and SEUNGRI have just finished up their solo album promotions, while T.O.P and TAEYANG will be returning before the fans with something new to unveil. They will be soon joined by DAESUNG in Japan for a group promotion in the neighboring country.

G-DRAGON’s solo activities for his 2nd full album will come to a close on SBS’s Inkigayo on Nov 3 and on Mnet M Countdown’s Triple Crown show on Nov 7. The latest album was his first in 4 years, and he once more showed his absolute dominance in the music world with the new songs ‘Crooked,’ ‘Coup d’etat,’ and ‘Black.’

G-DRAGON, who is putting end to his 2-month long solo activities, is gearing up to sweep across the music world with the soundtrack from MBC’s ‘Infinite Challenge.’ He had attracted conspicuous attention even before the episode was aired, by forming a duo with Jyung Hyung Don, called ‘Hyung Yong Don Jong’. The song dueted by G-DRAGON and Jung Hyung Don for ‘Infinite Challenge – Free Way Music Festival’ will be unveiled on Nov 3.

Just the day before G-DRAGON departs the music world temporarily, TAEYANG will be making a comeback, on Nov 1. This is his first comeback as a solo in 3 years since his 1st full album ‘Solar’ in 2010. He is getting ready to win the hearts of his fans with his dynamic performances. The fans are very much excited for the much-anticipated new song of TAEYANG’s, as he devoted almost 3 years in this upcoming album.

Apart from TAEYANG, T.O.P is also psyched up about unleashing his charm as a singer. The date or the details on the theme are yet to be revealed, but T.O.P is expected to return with an album in mid-November. T.O.P is going to be catching two birds, as an actor and singer, as his album release will be in the same month as the release of his film ‘Commitment’, which features other actors like Kim Yoo Jung.

Aside from the solo activities carried out by the three members, all BIGBANG members will be coming together as a group as well. SEUNGRI, who just wrapped up his solo promotion last month, and DAESUNG, who has been working as a solo artist in Japan, will join the other 3 members to strike the Japanese music market as one powerful group, BIGBANG.

YG Entertainment, the agency to which the group belongs, told Sports Seoul Dotcom in a phone interview on Oct 30, “All BIGBANG members will come together to kick off Japan’s largest 6 Dome Tour starting from mid-November. They will be holding concerts until January 13 of next year,” and also said that they hope the fans will continue to support the five members who are walking on the same path ‘together’ yet ‘separately.’
