Big Bang has done it again. Their newest song ‘Fantastic Baby’ has aggressively climbed to the #1, 2 spots on all Korean music charts.
Big Band had first conquered the top spots with their song ‘Blue’ from the new mini album. All six songs on their album were claimed to be title tracks but ‘Blue’ dominated music charts as the best loved song.
But after three consecutive weeks as #1, ‘Blue’ has been challenged by ‘Fantastic Baby,’ a song that Yang Hyun Suk claims is the most ‘Big Bang style.’ He added "This is the first song Big Bang has released in five years in the electro style. It's been long but it's relieving to see the song receive so much support."
‘Fantastic Baby’ had caught the eyes of many fans after the release of its music video on March 7th, with its powerful beat and dynamic choreography typical of Big Bang. It received the gold medal status under the YouTube category ‘Recently Most Popular’ and ‘Trending.’ Big Bang has yet to receive a gold medal under the category of ‘Popular’ videos on YouTube.
The music video of ‘Fantastic Baby’ shows the members of Big Bang undergoing transformation in a warehouse and deserted areas.
