According to portal site Geumyoung Karaoke, SNSD and BIGBANG were the #1 idols fans wanted to spend their Valentine’s Day with.
Starting January 27th, the site held a 6-day poll asking users to nominate their top idol choices for a Valentine’s date. Based on votes from 537 people (321 males, 216 females in their 20s-30s), 41% chose SNSD, while IU raked in 32%. SNSD is now enjoying their third consecutive year at the top of the poll.
As for the males, BIGBANG enjoyed a triumphant return to the top with 27% of the votes, thanks to the ‘double combo’ appeal of Seungri and GD&TOP’s albums. The group had won in 2009, but lost in 2010 to ballad idol group 2AM.
Continuing with runner-ups for the male idols, 2PM came in second with 18%, B2ST took third with 16%, and 2AM fell to fourth place with 15%.
