[DA: Chart] G-DRAGON Becomes No.1 on Major Monthly Charts for June Without Even Making a Single TV Show Appearance
G-DRAGON swept the online monthly charts for June.
“UNTITLED”, the title track of G-DRAGON’s new solo album released on June 8, became No.1 on the monthly charts of major online music streaming platforms such as Melon, Olleh, Genie, and Soribada.
His new album “KWON JI YONG” swept the charts upon release with all its tracks ranking high on the charts. The title track also became No.1 on three of Gaon charts.
It’s been almost a month since the album has been released, but the title track is still high up on most of the real-time charts.
Proving its popularity, “UNTITLED” became No.1 on the KBS’s Music Bank that was aired on June 30. G-DRAGON has won six No.1 trophies on TV music shows without going on a single show.
G-DRAGON is currently on a world tour titled “ACT III, M.O.T.T.E”. He will be holding concerts in a total of 29 cities around the world: nine cities in Asia, eight in North America, four in Oceania, five in Europe, and three in Japan. On July 7-8, G-DRAGON is to hold concerts at Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
