[NEWS] BIGBANG’s “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE” and “ZUTTER” Are Rocking Charts
In addition to topping real-time music charts, BIGBANG is sweeping the daily charts.
BIGBANG’s “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE” and “ZUTTER,” which was released at 12 AM on August 5, took the No. 1 spot on the daily charts of Melon, Bugs Music, Mnet, Genie, Soribada, and Olleh Music. By sweeping the six major online music sites, BIGBANG has certainly demonstrated their formidable popularity.
“LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE” and “ZUTTER” took the first and third places on the chart of Melon, Korea’s biggest music-streaming site. BIGBANG’s newly released singles also ranked first and second on the charts of Genie, Mnet, Bugs Music, and Olleh Music and first and third for the Soribada chart.
Like their previous “M”, “A,” and “D” albums, BIGBANG’s new “E” album is also gaining great popularity abroad. As of 2 PM on August 5, the “E” album took the No.1 place on the iTunes charts of 16 countries including Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, and Malaysia. On the other side of the Pacific, the “E” album ranked second in the Canadian charts and fourth in the US charts, proving BIGBANG’s global popularity.
The MVs for the new singles, which were released at the same time with the singles, are also getting huge responses. In the MV for “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE,” BIGBANG members play the part of a sweet boyfriend with actors such as Ha Yun Soo, Suh Yae Gee, and Lee Ho Jung. G-DRAGON and T.O.P show wonderful chemistry and excellent comic acting skills in the MV for “ZUTTER,” which is like a compilation of various genres of movies. Also in the “ZUTTER” MV, YOO BYUNG JAE appears as a cameo as “Mr. Kkondae.”
Meanwhile, BIGBANG is to appear on SBS’s “Inkigayo,” and it will be aired on August 9.
