As if to prove that BIGBANG’s music is well received not just by the fans but the whole range of public, BIGBANG is showcasing an incredible power.
“BANG BANG BANG” unveiled on June 1 topped Melon’s real-time chart as of 4pm, while “WE LIKE 2 PARTY” ranked #3. “LOSER” and “BAE BAE” from May are ranked at #4 and #5. BIGBANG has occupied an incredible 4 slots within the top 5.
It is at least understandable that the newest songs are sweeping across charts, but the one-month old “LOSER” and “BAE BAE” still ranking in the top range is certainly unprecedented.
Considering BIGBANG appears far less on TV than other artists, the record is even more mind-blowing.
BIGBANG is scheduled to release new songs every month until September, and some predict that the entire top 10 will be occupied by BIGBANG by then.
BIGBANG’s music is becoming more and more dynamic, and it is thanks to their musical talents. BIGBANG surely has a wide range of fans, but such record-breaking performance cannot be seen just with the help of fans. To become this dominating on charts, they have to win the hearts of the entire public as well. This shows that BIGBANG is successful as true artists.
With strong releases filling up charts nowadays, occupying charts for more than one month is a living proof that BIGBANG’s musical talents are recognized by the whole range of general public.
The four songs released in the span of May and June are truly entertaining the listeners with four very different colors. “LOSER” was a sentimental one while “BAE BAE” was hip-hop. “BANG BANG BANG” is a powerful beat of hip-hop and electronic, and “WE LIKE 2 PARTY” is upbeat rock.
The second in line of BIGBANG’s MADE SERIES, album “A,” will be released in Japan on June 17. Anticipation among Japanese fans is already growing for the upcoming revelation.
