BIGBANG seized the trophy on “Music Bank.”
Aired on KBS 2TV in the evening of May 15, “Music Bank” gave its trophy to BIGBANG for their track “LOSER” that won against the Bangtan Boys’ “I Need U.” This is their fourth one already.
It was more meaningful since it was BIGBANG’s first appearance on the program in 4 years. BIGBANG commented, “Thank you so much. It has been so long since we were last on the show and we are really happy. We thank the fans and all the staff members of YG.”
BIGBANG previously topped MBC’s “Show! Music Center” on May 9 without even appearing on the show for a comeback. On the 10th they topped SBS’s “Inkigayo” and on the 14th Mnet’s “M Countdown.” They topped charts for more than two weeks and on Gaon Chart they are building an incredible record by lasting at the top positions for more than 14 days. BIGBANG’s music is certainly influential.
“LOSER” is a song about a lonely person. It is not powerful or fast, but you can tell that it is produced by BIGBANG. The rhythmical rapping and the addictive hook attract the listeners’ attention at once. T.O.P, G-DRAGON wrote the song while TAEYANG was involved in composing. TEDDY was in charge of the overall producing.
Other artists like 24K, Oh My Girl, Jeon Hyo Sung, Kim Ye Rim, The Bangtan Boys, BESTie, EXID and many more appeared on the show to deliver some dynamic performances.
