[NEWS] BIGBANG’s “LOSER” in No.1 on Chart for 123 Hours a Week… Recording Highest Volume of Use for 2 Weeks in a Row
BIGBANG (G-DRAGON, T.O.P, TAEYANG, DAESUNG, and SEUNGRI), one of Korea’s leading K-pop idol groups, has topped the real-time accumulative chart for two weeks in a row.
According to KT’s music-streaming website Genie on the 15 this month, “LOSER” released on the 1 of May topped the real-time accumulative chart for the second week of May (May 6 – May 13). For the same period of time, “LOSER” stayed in the No.1 place on charts for 123 hours, and within 5th rank for 168 hours.
The song topped the real-time accumulative chart for the previous year, too, so it is staying in the top of the chart for two weeks in a row.
In fact, “LOSER” is still showing a formidable power as of the 15 in the morning, in the 15th day from its release, topping a variety of charts.
An insider of KT Music Genie said, “BIGBANG’s ‘LOSER’ has topped the No.1 on the real-time accumulative chart of Genie this week, following the previous week, enjoying an unending popularity. Along with BIGBANG, new songs of BoA, Kim Sung-gyoo, and Yoon Mirae are enjoying popularity, too, taking the No.1 on the real-time chart”.
Meanwhile, BIGBANG appears in KBS 2TV’s music show “Music Bank” on May 15 in the evening, to perform their new songs.
