[NEWS] BIGBANG Tops Chart for 16 Straight Days… What a Mystery!

BIGBANG has been topping music charts for whopping 16 days in a row.

As of 7 am on May 16, BIGBANG’s new track “LOSER” stands at the very top on South Korea’s major music sites like Melon, Genie, and Naver Music. In some charts BIGBANG climbed back to the top. Their other title track “BAE BAE” also stands in the top range.

Since the release of tracks, BIGBANG is proving incredible power by sweeping across real-time, daily and weekly charts. And they broke their own records by occupying the top slot for whopping 16 days in a row. They are maintaining and climbing back charts at the same time, and their influence is growing every minute.

BIGBANG got the trophy on MBC’s Show! Music Center without even making a comeback, which was followed by SBS’s Inkigayo, Mnet’s M Countdown and KBS 2TV’s Music Bank. The last one was their fourth.

On May 15 they seized the trophy on Music Bank, which was a music program they appeared for the first time in 4 years. They told the fans and viewers that they are truly happy to be back on the show, while thanking all the YG staff members.

“LOSER” is a song about a lonely person. It is not powerful or fast, but you can tell that it is produced by BIGBANG. The rhythmical rapping and the addictive hook attract the listeners’ attention at once. T.O.P, G-DRAGON wrote the song while TAEYANG was involved in composing. TEDDY was in charge of the overall producing.

Starting from “M” with “LOSER” and “BAE BAE,” BIGBANG will be releasing a total of 4 single albums M, A, D, E until August. In September the complete “MADE” album will be released. On May 30 the quintet will fly to China’s Guangzhou to kick off their World Tour which will last until 2016. They will travel across 15 cities, performing 70 times for 1.4 million international fans.

Other artists like Infinite, BoA, San-E and Yoon Mirae are also maintaining their positions in the top range of music charts.
