On May 1 at 0 o’clock, “LOSER” and “BAE BAE”, the title songs of project “M” of BIGBANG’s comeback project “MADE SERIES”, were unveiled. BIGBANG who is releasing new songs after three years of absence will unveil a project single album with more than one songs on the 1 of every month until August, under the title of “MADE SERIES”. Finally on September 1, all the songs released until then will be released again in full-length album “MADE”.
“LOSER” is a song with a catchy sentimental melody that talks about the story of a man who calls himself a loser. “BAE BAE” is a song that expresses a man’s wish to maintain the love with his girlfriend as beautiful as now.
First, “LOSER”’s melody was composed by TEDDY and TAEYANG and its lyrics were written by T.O.P, TEDDY, and G-DRAGON. Then, it was arranged by TEDDY. The song talks about the story of a man who lives as a loser, with a sentimental melody. Its catchy chorus also captivates listeners.
Words “loner, coward, troublemaker, idiot, garbage” are repeated in “LOSER”. The song with a slow tempo begins with G-DRAGON and TAEYANG’s rapping. Then, DAESUNG’s vocal follows, with T.O.P’s rapping at the center. SEUNGRI sings the repeat part, expressing it easy to understand and accept once heard.
Second, “BAE BAE” was composed by TEDDY and G-DRAGON, and arranged by TEDDY. Its lyrics were written by G-DRAGON, TEDDY, and T.O.P. It is a song with lyrics written in a unique style and catchy chorus, which express passionate confession of love toward a lover. It could be also seen as a song that confesses BIGBANG’s love for their fans.
“BAE BAE” is a song with medium tempo, whose strong beat leaves a deep and vivid impression.
