[NEWS] BIGBANG VISITS JAPAN FOR YG EXHIBITION: “WANT TO RELEASE ALBUM IN SUMMER”


BIGBANG made a surprise visit to an exhibition held by their agency, YG Entertainment. They said they “want to release an album in summer” as a group.

On Feb 21, everyone from BIGBANG except T.O.P visited YG Exhibition in Japan held in Mitsui Outlet Park in Kisarazushi Chiba Prefecture, sponsored by Mitsui Real Estate Agency.

At the exhibition, fans will be able to enjoy a concert of huge hologram screen and media façade of PSY, BIGBANG and 2NE1 in the 3D Live Hologram Theater.

YG Collection showcases props and outfits of the artists worn at concerts, while Live Photo Service makes the fans feel like they are taking photos with the artists. There will be different products and foods available in celebration of the exhibition.

Oricon, the largest Japanese music industry delivered the news. SEUNGRI said, “Because we sweat a lot, our live concert is smelly,” and TAEYANG said, “No, it’s just SEUNGRI,” making everyone laugh.

SEUNGRI is said to comment, “We want to release an album this summer. We want to show up on TV and events as a group.”

YG, last May, worked together with District and KT to establish a hologram contents distributor NIK. NIK recently launched a hologram exhibition hall KLIVE in Dongdaemun.
