[NEWS] G-Dragon and Lee Hyori Refer to Terrible Camera Angles at SBS Gayo Awards
While the night was filled with spectacular performances by all the stars that shined in 2013, the cameras at the 2013 SBS Gayo Awards weren’t able to fully capture all the beautiful moments.
On December 29, the 2013 SBS Gayo Awards took place at Kintex located in Ilsan. The ceremony proved to have many brilliant performances but viewers were filled with complaints as the cameras failed to capture good footage.
In particular, Lee Hyori and Big Bang’s G-Dragon went to their Twitter accounts to mention the poor camera work.
After thanking all the people who made her performance possible, Lee Hyori tweeted, “And….the ca.me.ra…hrm….tha…thanks.”
G-Dragon also simply tweeted, “Ca…Me…Ra…”
Lee Hyori collaborated with 2NE1’s CL, putting on a powerful and noteworthy performance of the two strong females, but the cameras failed to film the highlights of the stage, focusing on random moments from odd angles.
Also, with G-Dragon and Taeyang’s performance, the camera shot the singers from the bottom of the clear stage, showing the feet of the singers instead of their faces.
The terrible camera angles continued with other singers’ performances, making viewers criticize the exaggerated attempt to capture expansive footage, which instead ended up giving headaches to everyone watching.
