With the release of Crooked, Big Bang’s G-Dragon asked the cast of MBC’s Infinity Challenge to make another remake music video.
On September 5, G-Dragon released the music video for Crooked, which immediately caught the attention of HaHa and Infinity Challenge producer, Kim Tae Ho.
HaHa tweeted G-Dragon, saying the music video was art, while Kim Tae Ho PD said, “HaHa and Hong Chul were watching and saying, ‘So cool. Really cool…’ and then deciding to go on a diet. Haha.”
G-Dragon replied, “Please film it as the next one after Haru Haru,” referring to Infinity Challenge’s remake of Big Bang’s Haru Haru back in 2009.
With Crooked’s Korean title, Ppi ddak ha gae, Kim Tae Ho cleverly replied back, “Haha as the main character as jjal mak ha gae (short)? Gil as bbak bbak ha gae (bald)? Joon Ha hyung as bbang bbang ha gae (bloated)? Hong Chul as uhl keun ha gae (big faced)?”
G-Dragon shot back, “Kekekeke Daebak! Jae Suk hyung can be kkan kkan ha gae (strict) and Myung Soo hyung jjan ha gae (a little sad).”
Kim Tae Ho added, “Hahaha…now that I see it, we left out Hyung Don again… ‘Just…do whatever.’” G-Dragon said, “Ah…right… I didn’t mean to…but I forgot Hyung Don hyung. Keke.”
Jung Hyung Don was not given a Big Bang member to parody in the Haru Haru remake in the past.
HaHa chirped saying he’ll work hard and they should film in Itaewon.
It’s unclear if a remake of G-Dragon’s Crooked will actually happen.
