[NEWS] BIGBANG surveyed to be the #1 ranked K-Pop artists in Japan for 2014
After an overall calculation of their Japanese activities over the course of this past year, BIGBANG has been ranked the #1 K-pop artist to promote in Japan in 2014!
On November 7th, Sports Donga revealed that South Korean band, BIGBANG, had the largest cumulative attendance at their concerts in 2014, naming them “the best Korean artists of 2014.”
According to the December issue of monthly Japanese magazine, Nikkei Entertainment, BIGBANG gathered over 927,000 fans total during their 29 concert stops in Japan, placing them at 2nd place following the Japanese rock band Exile who accumulated a total of 1,053,000 fans during their 31 concert stops.

Following the reveal of the Japanese stamps, BIGBANG′s Korean stamps will be showcased at the Seoul Central Post Office beginning November 7.
From November 7 to November 30, the BIGBANG stamps will be installed in a glass display at the Seoul Central Post Office.

[NEWS] YG Family Concert Gathers Over 35,000 Fans in Beijing
YG Entertainment successfully wrapped up a family concert in Beijing, China.
YG announced on October 20, “YG launched YG Family 2014 Galaxy Tour: Power in Beijing in Worker’s Stadium in Beijing, China on October 19,” adding, “This concert gathered over 35,000 audience members, proving its popularity.”
The concert began with 2NE1’s performance. Shouting out ‘Beijing are you ready?’ 2NE1 appeared on stage by singing Crush. The group then continued to heat up the stage by performing hit songs Fire, Come Back Home and more.

As the first foreign artist to launch a Japan 5 Dome tour for two years in a row, BIGBANG has confirmed to extend the upcoming tour with a Tokyo dome concert.
After adding three concerts to take place in Osaka’s Kyocera Dome on January 16, 17 and 18 in 2015, BIGBANG decided to add in another performance in Tokyo Dome on Christmas, October 25.

Who will be this year’s icon for 2014 Style Icon Awards?

G-Dragon attended Chanel’s 2015 SS Collection held on September 30 in Grand Palais in Paris, France.

G-DRAGON took part in the Chanel S/S 2015 show.
On Sep. 30th, Korean singer G-DRAGON attended Chanel’s Spring-Summer 2015 show held in Grand Palais in Paris. He was also invited to the Chanel S/S 2014 show and met with the head designer Karl Lagerfeld. G-DRAGON was invited to the Chanel show once again, demonstrating his presence as a global fashionista.
Matching Chanel’s iconic tweed jacket with a pair of metallic blue skinny pants, G-DRAGON displayed a sophisticated look.
The Chanel S/S 2015 show was joined by the brand’s ambassadors Anna Mouglalis, Alice Dellal and Astrid Berges-Frisbey, French actress Julie Delpy, Austrailian movie director Baz Luhrmann, and Japanese model Kiko Mizuhara.

[NEWS] BIGBANG breaks record: adds 3 extra concerts to Japan’s 5 Dome Tour
BIGBANG, the first foreign band to have Japan’s 5 largest Dome Tour for 2 years in a row, confirmed that they would have an extra 3 concerts in Osaka in early 2015 at Kyocera Dome.
The 3 extra ones are to be held on January 16, 17, and 18, which in total covers 5 cities of 14 performances joined by 686,000 fans. BIGBANG is the very first band, including all the Japanese bands as well, to hold a total of 7 concerts in Osaka Kyocera Dome. They certainly broke the record.
