[NEWS] All Tickets Sold for BIGBANG’s Tour in North America, the Largest Scale among K-pop Musicians
The tickets to BIGBANG’s second tour in North America have all been sold out, proving the group’s huge popularity.
BIGBANG is currently on their “WORLD TOUR MADE”. So far, they have held three concerts in three cities. The first concert was held at the Mandalay Bay Event Center, LA on October 2. Then, BIGBANG held concerts at the Staples Center, LA on October 3 and at the Honda center, Anaheim on October 4. The tickets of some 30,000 seats for these concerts were all sold out.
Three years have passed since BIGBANG’ went on their first tour in North America – “ALIVE GALAXY TOUR”. In 2012, BIGBANG’s concerts were held in four cities of the US and Peru – LA, Anaheim, New Jersey, and Lima. This year, they are held in six cities across three countries – Las Vegas, LA, Anaheim, New Jersey, Toronto (Canada), and Mexico City (Mexico). This shows that BIGBANG has gained more popularity in North and Central America.
With their “ALIVE GALAXY TOUR”, BIGBANG became the first k-pop group to hold an arena tour in North America. BIGBANG is now the first k-pop group to hold a second tour in North America.
When BIGBANG arrived at LAX for this year’s tour, millions of fans came to see them. Even after BIGBANG’s concert at the Mandalay Bay Event Center started, fans that didn’t have the tickets refused to go home and stayed around. This demonstrates BIGBANG’s enormous popularity.
Celebrities such as Black Eyed Peas and those in the show business came to see BIGBANG’s concert at the Staples Center. The tickets for BIGBANG’s concert at the Honda center, Anaheim were all sold out and the 10,000 seats were all filled with fans.
BIGBANG sang the songs of their “MADE” series albums such as “BANG BANG BANG”, “IF YOU”, and “LOSER” as well as their old hit songs “BAD BOY” and “FANTASTIC BABY”. The audience sang along with them and gave them a huge response.
Meanwhile, as part of their tour, BIGBANG will be holding concerts in Mexico City, Mexico on October 7, in New Jersey in October 10-11, and in Toronto, Canada on October 13.
