[Music Talk Talk] BIGBANG’s MAD “E” Series Returns
It is indeed “MAD.” BIGBANG is unveiling new songs every month through their project “MADE” and they are re-writing the history of the music world. And now the last of the MADE SERIES, album “E” will be unveiled on August 5. Rapper GD and T.O.P come together as a unit for the first time in 5 years, and another song to be unveiled is expected to be on the opposite end of the spectrum.
BIGBANG, for the first time in Korea, began a project where they unveil two new songs every month from May. So far they are more than successful. Many were concerned, but that turns out to be for nothing.
They are passing with flying colors. The first one from album “M” consisted of “LOSER,” and “BAE BAE,” sweeping cross all charts and music programs. In June album “A” included “BANG BANG BANG” and “WE LIKE 2 PARTY,” again topping all charts and programs.
In July their third “D” included “IF YOU” and “SOBER,” which were perfect for summer. And with “E” they are expected to showcase something very special.
“FANTASTIC” is a perfect harmony of GD and T.O.P, to be unveiled in August. They are returning to their original passion for traditional hip-hop. YG Entertainment’s head YANG HYUN SUK, known for being extremely picky, immediately approved. The two attracted much attention in 2010 with their first full album “HIGH HIGH,” so it is only natural that expectations are building for the duo.
Just like they did until now, they are going to show new charms. YG revealed the second poster for album “E” on July 30, introducing “LET’S NOT LOVE.” In the poster BIGBANG members’ eyes are taken close-up. YG commented that the song will impress everyone with a very different charm from “FANTASTIC.”
Through this project, BIGBANG garnered popularity with their classy music that cut across all genres. Now all eyes are on the quintet to see if they will succeed once again with their last album of the series.
