[INTERVIEW] BIGBANG Hoped to Sympathize with People Through ′Loser′

BIGBANG returned as a group after three years.

With close to ten years of experience, BIGBANG is currently dancing along the fine lines between ′idol′ and ′artist.′

On May 4, BIGBANG carried out an interview withNewsen at a hotel located in Yeouido, where the members shared the worries they faced as singers that the public doesn′t know about.

About his current worries, G-Dragon shared, "It′s something that all singers feel, but because we released our music and are continuously receiving love for it, we worry about what should and shouldn′t be said at our current position."

"We ponder about what kind of song we must do in order to give sympathy and energy. We have a lot of worries regarding the lyrics and the music. As the days go by, our worries grow. These kinds of things come as a time of studying. I think they give a lot of help."

Regarding the lyrics to the title song Loser, G-Dragon explained, "Not only BIGBANG, but any well-known people, entertainers, or people in the entertainment industry must receive interest and reveal their every move, but in the end, we are all people."

"If you pinch us, it hurts. When we watch something funny, we laugh. If we see something sad, we cry. We′re all the human beings It′s just that our occupation is different. Because the occupation that we chose is singing, we wanted to explain the different backgrounds of each person′s individual situation as well as the experience of people around our age."

"Because the social atmosphere is gloomy and it′s a time when there′s a lack of confidence, we thought it was important to sympathize with music. From the back, there are times when we are in hell and and depressing times come to us for no reason. It′s good to sympathize with moments like that," said T.O.P.

G-Dragon continued, "Compared to other people our age, we are walking a good path after achieving success, but we also have worries that we cannot talk about. So we might feel more loneliness or say things that sound like complaints, but because we are also human beings, we expressed that in song."

BIGBANG released Loser and Bae Bae on May 1. Starting with the ′M′ Project, BIGBANG will release at least one new song at the beginning of each month until August. BIGBANG′s full album MADE will be released on September 1.

BIGBANG will also hold a world tour that will visit around 15 countries with 70 concerts and an estimate of 1,400,000 fans.
