G-DRAGON’s solo World Tour documentary is to be released as 4DX in Japan, proving his incredible popularity among the local fans.
The film titled “ONE OF A KIND 3D G-DRAGON 2013 1ST WORLD TOUR” will be released in Japan on Feb 28 for the first time as 4DX.
Accompanied by a total of 570,000 fans while traveling across 8 countries in 13 cities to perform 27 times from March to September 2013, GD completed his first solo World Tour in huge success. The “ONE OF A KIND 3D G-DRAGON 2013 1ST WORLD TOUR” was originally a 3D live documentary film, and this will be released in Tokyo’s United Cinema Toyosu as a 4DX.
Filmed with 24 cameras and directed by the world’s best director, the film features GD’s live performance in such a vivid manner with its 3D technology.
The film includes 14 songs from his Seoul concert and the encore performances, along with the collabo with 2NE1’s CL, “The Leaders,” featuring Teddy. The movie also captures GD off stage, where he thinks deeply about being an artist and in other scenes that were never shown.
With the other members of BIGBANG, GD was in Japan from last November to this January to hold Japan’s 5 Dome Tour 2 years in a row, which is a first for foreign artists. 740,000 local fans were electrified by BIGBANG’s presence. Last November, they released an album titled “THE BEST OF BIGBANG 2006-2014” in celebration of BIGBANG’s 5th anniversary and opening of 5 Dome Tour. The album topped Oricon weekly album, once again proving their amazing popularity.
GD is now devoting all his energy into BIGBANG’s 1st album in 3 long years, which will be released soon.
