American FUSE TV selected GD-TAEYANG and CL-DARA as Best Friends in the Music World
BIGBANG’s G-DRAGON and TAEYANG, as well as 2NE1’s CL and DARA have been recognized the best duos in the pop music scene.
On February 12 and 13 (local time), FUSE TV uploaded interesting articles titled “Music’s 22 Greatest Bromances” and “Happy Galentine’s Day! 18 Female Friends in Music”, to celebrated the Valentine’s Day and Galentine’s Day (a day of celebrating friendship between female friends), respectively. GD-TAEYANG and CL-DARA are mentioned in the articles.
FUSE TV mentioned GD-TAEYANG as an example of the “greatest bromances” and introduced the long-standing bond between the two, saying, “The two met as YG trainees in Korea and have been sharing friendship for more than 13 years, to do even world tour together”. “Recently, the two created a team with their collaboration single ‘GOOD BOY’ that created a global hit”, added FUSE TV.
FUSE TV also mentioned CL and DARA’s friendship. FUSE TV said, “When the great tsunami and the Tohoku earthquake of 9.0 magnitude swept Japan in 2011, 2NE1 was staying in the country. When hit by the earthquake, DARA was on the 34th floor of a building and called 2NE1’s leader CL. CL wen to DARA and came out from the building by coming down the stairs from the 34th floor, while the building was shaking.”

Meanwhile, G-DRAGON and TAEYANG have recently been committing themselves to preparation for BIGBANG’s comeback after three years of absence. CL is preparing for her official solo debut in the United States. DARA will soon meet fans as an actress, in web-drama “Dr. Ian” that is jointly created by Korea and China.
