[NEWS] G-DRAGON, TAEYANG AND TOP RANK WITHIN TOP 10 IN DAZED
G-DRAGON, T.O.P., TAEYANG and 2NE1’s CL were ranked within the top 10 K-Pop artists selected by British fashion magazine DAZED individually with their solo song. This makes a sensational four artists being placed within the top 10 from just YG Entertainment.
DAZED, on its official homepage on Dec 11 (Korean time), posted an article titled ‘Top ten K-Pop of 2013’, and announced 10 K-Pop music that garnered much popularity for the last one year.
BIGBANG’s T.O.P ranked #1, while G-DRAGON’s ‘Coup d’etat’ ranked #3, and TAEYANG’s ‘Ringa Linga’ standing at #5. CL from 2NE1 ranked #8 with her solo song ‘The Baddest Female.’
Following YG artists were musicians from SM Entertainment, with Exo’s ‘Growl’ and f(x)’s ‘Rum Pum Pum Pum’ at #2 and #6. Infinite, who are part of SM label, ranked #4 with their song ‘Destiny.’
Apart from these artists, there are others like Cube Entertainment’s Trouble Maker (a duo of Jang Hyun Seung and Hyunah) with ‘There’s No Tomorrow’ ranking #7, and Chrome Entertainment’s ‘Bar Bar Bar’ ranking #9, and TS Entertainment’s B.A.P ranking #10 with ‘Hurricane.’
DAZED also added Spica’s ‘Tonight’, Teen Top’s ‘Miss Right’, Bangtan Boys’ ‘No More Dream, Henry’s ‘Trap’, SHINee’s ‘Why So Serious’, Block B’s ‘Very Good’, EvoL’s ‘Get Up’ and Sistar’s ‘Gone Not Around Any Longer’ were also very popular in the year, although not chosen in the top 10.
