[NEWS] BIGBANG CONCERT AT NAGOYA DOME GAINED GREAT SUCCESS WITH 81,000 AUDIENCE
BIGBANG’s Japan six dome tour concert, which is the first-ever case for a foreign singer, has been gaining a great success, attracting as many as 81,000 people to Nagoya dome concert.
BIGBANG held a concert at Nagoya Dome on the 14 and 15 this month as part of “BIGBANG JAPAN DOME TOUR 2013~2014”, and captivated Japanese fans by their colorful live performance.
In the tour, BIGBANG is showcasing new performances, rather than continuing to present existing formats of performance.
BIGBANG members fascinated fans in new costumes, and TAEYANG electrified the audience by performing “RINGA LINGA”, as well as his solo debut song “ONLY LOOK AT ME” and “WEDDING DRESS” on his solo stage.
On the stage of the tour, BIGBANG is displaying stages that encompass their past and present. They passionately sang total 26 songs, including debut song “LaLaLa”, early hits like “SHAKE”, “LIES”, and LAST FAREWELL”, “FANTASTIC BABY”, “BLUE”, and “BAD BOY” which have been loved much in and out of the country, as well as encore songs. Each one of BIGBANG, who has been busy performing as a solo artist during this year, enriched the concert further by presenting solo performances.
As the Japan dome tour’s scale was enormous, special stage settings such as a flying stage and moving car were used for BIGBANG to go closer to each and every one of the audience, which impressed them.
Notably, BIGBANG’s so-called “trance” dance was showcased and the hilarious and familiar appeal that is released only on the concert stage fascinated the audience.
BIGBANG kicked off the Japan dome tour at Saitama Seibu Dome on November 16 (Sat.) and 17 (Sun.) this year, and held concert at Osaka Dome on November 29 (Fri.) and December 1(Sun.), at Fukuoka Yafuoku Dome on December 7 (Sat.) and 8 (Sun.), and then at Nagoya Dome on December 14 (Sat.) and 15 (Sun.), going the halfway through the tour schedule.
The dome tour has been under the spotlight of both Korean and Japanese media, creating sensation with its huge scale which is expected to draw total 771,000 spectators to 16 concerts in six cities in Japan, including an additional concert in Osaka.
For BIGBANG’s dome tour, YG ENTERTAINMENT’s new boy group “WINNER” has been performing on the opening stage, by singing “GO UP” and “OFFICIALLY MISSING YOU”.
BIGBANG continues the Japan six dome tour at Tokyo Dome on December 19 (Thu.) and 21 (Sat.), at Sapporo Dome on January 4 (Sat.) next year, and finally at Kyocera Dome on January 11 (Sat.) and 13 (Mon.). Then, BIGBANG comes back to Korea to meet Korean fans after one year of absence, in a concert that will be on January 25 (Sat.) and 26 (Sun.) at Olympic Park Gymnastics Hall located in Seoul.
