Although young at the age of 25, G-Dragon ranked number five in royalties of composers, becoming the richest idol group member in the K-Pop business.
On November 4, SBS’ Good Morning revealed what composers earned in royalties in 2012.
G-Dragon confidently ranked number five with a total of 790,000,000 won. Above him were Park Jin Young at first with 1.2 billion won, Cho Young Soo at second with 970,000,000 won, YG’s Teddy at third with 940,000,000 won, and SM’s Yoo Young Jin at fourth with 830,000,000 won.
G-Dragon is the only idol-composer that made it into the Top 5, putting netizens in awe at what he’s done at such a young age.
The reported royalties, however, may differ after taxes.
