According to YG Entertainment on the 18, boy band BIGBANG heralded the beginning of BIGBANG Japan Dome Tour 2013-2014 on the 16 and 17 this month at Seibu Dome located in Saitama, Japan.
The tour is the second case of six dome tour concert in Japan, after Japanese artist Mr.Children. BIGBANG will meet 770,000 people at Saitama Seibu Dome, Osaka Kyocera Dome, Fukuoka Yafuoku Dome, Nagoya Dome, and Tokyo Dome, etc.
YG Entertainment added that 1.4 million people, double the number of the total audience, applied to purchase the ticket of the tour, for which total 16 concerts will be held at six cities.
BIGBANG performed their debut song “MY HEAVEN”, as well as their hit song “GARAGARA GO”, Japanese version of “HARU HARU”, and “FANTASTIC BABY” on the stage.
Plus, each member staged solo performance, including G-DRAGON’s “CROOKED”, TAEYANG’s “RINGA LINGA”, and T.O.P’s “DOOM DADA”. YG’s new boy band WINNER stood on the opening stage.
G-DRAGON said, “The concert will make you feel as if you are listening to BIGBANG’s best album. The fact that we can hold a six dome tour concert itself is so amazing. I think you can see the past, present, and future of BIGBANG.”
BIGBANG holds concert at Osaka Kyocera Dome from the 29 this month to the 1 next month, at Fukuoka Yafuoku Dome on the 7 to 8 next month, then moves on to more concerts at the other domes.
