[NEWS] G-Dragon to Film ‘Who U’ MV with 1000 Fans
After asking fans for ideas, Big Bang’s G-Dragon will now be featuring fans in his upcoming music video for Who U.
On October 1, G-Dragon wrote on his Twitter, “10.5 Who U? I’m a director!”
He followed it up with “Please make a music video personally filming me and appearing in it. For more information on ‘October 5, Who U,’ please look at the homepage. Anticipating.”
In G-Dragon recently released second album, Coup d’Etat, there are four title songs of Who U, Black, Crooked, and Niliriya. As of now, only Crooked out of the title songs has a music video, making fans excited for the news of a new music video coming soon.
Especially with this music video, 1000 fans will personally participate in the filming process and create a music video by editing in fan videos and pictures together. Although there have been many times when fans appeared in music videos as audience members, this is a rare event that fans are actually working on the filming of a music video.
Following the news, fans commented, “I’m so excited that fans will get to actually film this!” “This is going to be daebak,” and “Awesome.”
Meanwhile, G-Dragon is currently taking over music programs with his title songs ranking number. With the release of a fan-created music video, people are waiting to see what kind of response his album will get.
