[NEWS] Big Bang tickets sell out for London world tour stop
Idol group Big Bang, composed of five members, proved their global popularity by selling out their additional concert in London.
Big Bang will hold the ‘Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour 2012′ on December 14 and 15 at the Wembley Arena in London, the United Kingdom. Many top artists, including, Beatles, ABBA, and Beyonce, held their concerts at the arena, with a capacity of around 12,000 people.
Big Bang originally planned to hold only one concert on December 15 but they had to add an additional concert for those who couldn’t buy tickets, which sold out after only two hours.
On December 13, Big Bang’s agency, YG Entertainment, said, “Big Bang sold out all the tickets for their concerts. Even though it’s their first time holding their exclusive concert in the United Kingdom, many local fans are paying attention to them and we are thankful for that.”
After the concerts in London, Big Bang will go to Japan to hold more concerts in Fukuoka on December 22, in Osaka on January 12 and 13. Then they will return to Korea to hold an encore concert on January 25 through 27 at the Olympic Park in Seoul to complete their first world tour.
The agency says, “Big Bang received considerable attention in the world through their world tour. Big Bang toured three Domes in Japan for the first time as Korean singers and they also gained confidence touring Asia, the United States, Peru, and the United Kingdom.
