G-DRAGON and group TWICE took No.1 and No.2 on Melon’s chart for June, respectively.

Music platform Melon has released the rankings of its monthly chart for June. Influential artists including G-DRAGON, TWICE, PSY, SISTAR, and Bolbbalgan4 fiercely competed to take top ranks on Melon’s chart for June.

[NEWS] BIGBANG’s “FXXK IT” Music Video Surpasses 100 Million YouTube Views, Making the Group Have the Most Number of Music Videos over 100 Million Views


BIGBANG’s “FXXK IT” music video surpassed the 100 million view mark on YouTube. 

On July 2, YG Entertainment head YANG HYUN SUK uploaded a poster on his Instagram page congratulating BIGBANG on their “FXXK IT” music video surpassing 100 million views on YouTube. 

The “FXXK IT” music video was released on December 13 last year, and upon release, it went viral globally. As a result, the music video surpassed 100 million views in just six months. As of 11:30 PM on July 1, the music video posted 100,007,821 views on YouTube.

[NEWS] G-DRAGON’s “UNTITLED” Becomes No.1 on Monthly Charts Despite Fierce Competition


G-DRAGON’s “UNTITLED” took the No.1 spot on Genie’s monthly chart for June, proving his huge popularity once again.

“UNTITLED” ranked first on Genie’s monthly chart for June. It is the title track of G-DRAGON’s new solo album, his first solo album in four years. Upon release, the song dominated the charts and stayed on the top for a total of 100 hours.

The second place went to Bolbbalgan4’s “You and Me From The Start”. The song is the original sound track of MBC’s drama ”Ruler: Master of the Mark”, and the duo’s unique voice makes the song even more charming. The third place went to Nation’s Sons “Never”. Nation’s Sons is a group formed for a competition in Season 2 of Produce 101. The fourth place went to Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You”. He is to hold a concert in Korea in September this year.

The photography for the cover of fashion media magazine Elle’s July issue was completed with G-DRAGON’s flagship charisma and mood. The photography was taken with Chanel’s Cosmopolite collection. G-DRAGON displays an overwhelming aura with his eyes and reveals a new appeal, wearing coats without inner wear.

[NEWS] G-DRAGON tops American Billboard’s world albums chart for 2 weeks in a row… For the first time for a Korean artist


G-DRAGON has topped American Billboard’s world albums chart for two weeks in a row, for the first time for a Korean solo artist.

On June 19 (local time), American Billboard announced the ranking of G-DRAGON’s new solo album “KWON JI YONG” in an article titled, “G-Dragon Tops World Albums Chart for 2nd Week to Nearly Double Total U.S. Sales”.
