[NEWS] BIGBANG Confirmed for 2013 MAMA in Hong Kong
BIGBANG is back, back at MAMA.
On October 25, CJ E&M announced that BIGBANG has been confirmed to perform at Mnet’s 2013 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), which will be held at the Asia World-Expo in Hong Kong on November 22.

G-Dragon, who is arguably one of the most influential idol stars, was named a Style Icon at the 2013 Style Icon Awards (SIA).
SIA brought out the Korean entertainment industry’s hottest stars, where they celebrated at the CJ E&M Center in Seoul on October 24.

G-Dragon, Korea’s leading idol star in music and fashion beat out his fellow Style Icons at this year’s Style Icon Awards to take home the Style Icon of the Year Award.
After giving his acceptance speech on stage, G-Dragon met with reporters for a brief Q&A session, where he stated, “I personally like the words Style Icon, so accepting the award is even more meaningful. It was all so sudden, so I couldn’t say this earlier, but I’m also thankful to my fans and YG Family”

Amidst stiff competition, G-Dragon ended up as the ultimate Style Icon of the Year!
“Thank you. There a lot of people who know style in Korea, so I don’t know if I should be accepting this award," said G-Dragon. "I came out with an album, Coup d’Etatfor the first time in four years, and as a style icon, I hope to continue to introduce new music and styles.”

After weeks of voting from 50 nominees, the 10 Style Icons at the 2013 Style Icon Awards have been revealed.
More than 400,000 votes from over 140 countries were cast this year, and this year’s 10 Style Icons were unveiled via the SIA homepage.
