[NEWS] 30,000 Come Out to Catch Big Bang’s Hong Kong Concert
Big Bang can now check off Hong Kong as the latest place where the group has successfully performed as part of their Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour.
The Big Bang members took to Hong Kong’s Asia World Expo from December 8 through 10, with a total of 30,000 coming out to catch the group in action over the course of three nights.

At the press conference that was held for their 3-day concert in Hong Kong, Big Bang shared their candid thoughts with local media.
The night prior to their historic three-day concert in Hong Kong, Big Bang met with the media in a press conference sponsored by Samsung. Apart from sharing their expectations on the GALAXY Tour as well as their upcoming plans, Big Bang answered questions raised by media. Big Bang expressed that they are very excited to meet their fans in Hong Kong, and they are very delighted to receive the sponsorship from Samsung.

Even with Big Bang‘s ‘Alive Galaxy Tour’ about to come to an end, fans are showing unceasing interest and support.
From December 8th through the 10th, the boys performed for a total of 30,000 fans at the Asia World Expo in Hong Kong. Although they had only originally planned to make it a two day concert, tickets had sold out the moment they had gone on sale, prompting Big Bang to add another date. Tickets for that date sold out just as fast, demonstrating the boys’ popularity.

[NEWS] BIGBANG & G-DRAGON win "So-Loved Awards 2012" 1st European K-POP Awards
On December 8th, ‘ K-Colors of Korea ’ a German magazine devoted to K-pop and Korean culture, revealed the winners of its third annual ‘So-Loved Awards’. The ‘So-Loved Awards’ were created as Europe’s first K-pop awards, to reflect the tastes of European K-pop fans.
Although voting was open to everyone, only votes from European voters were tallied to determine the winner of each category. With over 307,086 total votes (110,984 European votes), this year’s awards were bigger than ever.

[NEWS] Big Bang Nominated for World Music Awards
As further proof of K-Pop’s growing global recognition, a slew of K-Pop artists have been nominated in different categories for this year’s World Music Awards.
Taking into account the top artists from all six of the seven continents (excluding Antarctica) and 160 countries, the World Music Awards announced its 2012 World Music Awards nominees via its official homepage on December 7.
[NEWS] G-DRAGON RANKS #1 ON THE TOP 10 SONGWRITERS OF 2012
Among the list of the top songwriters who wrote the most hit songs this year are Big Bang‘s G-Dragon, Busker Busker‘s Jang Bum Joon, Two Step Sidekick and Kim Do Hoon. The biggest difference between this year and last year is that the top two song writers are artists rather than full-time songwriters.
