Who will be this year’s icon for 2014 Style Icon Awards?
With voting for 2014 Style Icon Awards half way over, Kim Soo Hyun and G-Dragon have been listed as the two top nominees.
Focus has been gathering on whether G-Dragon, who was the top icon of last year, or Kim Soo Hyun, who gained top star status in Asia by starring in SBS’s You Who Came From the Stars, will be selected as this year’s icon.
[NEWS] Taeyang Shares that BIGBANG is Currently Working on New Album
At his recent solo concert, Taeyang teased a bit about BIGBANG′s comeback.
On October 10, 11 and 12, BIGBANG′s taeyang held his solo concert, 2014 Taeyang Concert - Rise at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park.
Towards the end of the concert, he held a Q&A session with the fans. One audience member asked about the comeback period of BIGBANG, leading Taeyang to say, "I believe that the thing everyone′s curious about is related to the BIGBANG members and the new album."

G-Dragon attended Chanel’s 2015 SS Collection held on September 30 in Grand Palais in Paris, France.

G-DRAGON took part in the Chanel S/S 2015 show.
On Sep. 30th, Korean singer G-DRAGON attended Chanel’s Spring-Summer 2015 show held in Grand Palais in Paris. He was also invited to the Chanel S/S 2014 show and met with the head designer Karl Lagerfeld. G-DRAGON was invited to the Chanel show once again, demonstrating his presence as a global fashionista.
Matching Chanel’s iconic tweed jacket with a pair of metallic blue skinny pants, G-DRAGON displayed a sophisticated look.
The Chanel S/S 2015 show was joined by the brand’s ambassadors Anna Mouglalis, Alice Dellal and Astrid Berges-Frisbey, French actress Julie Delpy, Austrailian movie director Baz Luhrmann, and Japanese model Kiko Mizuhara.

[NEWS] BIGBANG breaks record: adds 3 extra concerts to Japan’s 5 Dome Tour
BIGBANG, the first foreign band to have Japan’s 5 largest Dome Tour for 2 years in a row, confirmed that they would have an extra 3 concerts in Osaka in early 2015 at Kyocera Dome.
The 3 extra ones are to be held on January 16, 17, and 18, which in total covers 5 cities of 14 performances joined by 686,000 fans. BIGBANG is the very first band, including all the Japanese bands as well, to hold a total of 7 concerts in Osaka Kyocera Dome. They certainly broke the record.

[NEWS] BIGBANG‘s comeback album still in the works
Interviews with K-pop stars can be a frustrating affair.
Questions requested by their overprotective management beforehand are often slashed by more than half because they are deemed too sensitive and replies are usually generic and predictable as a result.
This started out the case with BigBang - no questions about their upcoming comeback album or army enlistment were allowed.
But once Life! got the idol group alone for an exclusive interview last Friday night at Resorts World Sentosa, the replies flowed freely and were refreshingly candid at times.
[NEWS] YG FAMILY’S SINGAPORE CONCERT SUCCESSFULLY ROUNDED OFF
YG Entertainment successfully rounded off “YG FAMILY 2014 GALAXY TOUR : POWER IN SINGAPORE” held on the 13 and 14 at Singapore Indoor Stadium in cooperation with Samsung Galaxy.
2NE1 electrified the audience by starting the concert singing “CRUSH”, “COME BACK HOME”, and “GOTTA BE YOU”. 2NE1 has recently been meeting fans around the world by having the second world tour, which is the first-ever case for a Korean girl group. They also created sensation in and out of the country this year, with their second full-length album “CRUSH”.
