[NEWS] Big Bang’s Alive Tour in Japan Tickets Sold Out, Most Sought After by Over a Million People
Big Bang's Japan of ‘Big Bang Alive Tour 2012’ has been reported by a mu-mo Entertainment News to have been sold out in mere minutes after it went on sale.
‘Big Bang Alive Tour 2012 in Japan’ has gained an explosive response drawing over 1 million people to apply to purchase the ticket however the tickets are limited to only 150,000 seats, it means that more than six times the amount of people have applied.
Big Bang’s world tour garnered a lot of attention as the group will visit 16 countries and 25 cities in North America, Europe, Asia and South America. The tour is also directed by Laurieann Gibson, the Emmy nominated stage director of Lady Gaga’s ‘The Monster Ball Tour.’
Japan tour was originally planned as 10 performances in five cities however additional performances in Yokohama and two more in Osaka have been added. The tickets for the additional added performances will begin at 10:00AM JST on May 12.
The five member popular idol group Big Bang is preparing to spread its explosion on the music scene all around the world through their first world tour.

It’s been revealed that Big Bang‘s G-Dragon was previously a trainee under SM Entertainment!
The May 8th episode of Mnet‘s ‘Wide Entertainment News‘ belatedly revealed some never-before-stories about today’s top idol stars.
Viewers were most taken aback by the fact that Big Bag’s G-Dragon who is currently under YG Entertainment was a trainee under SM Entertainment for 5 years. G-Dragon joined SM Entertainment at the young age of 8 years old and built his dream of becoming a singer, but in the end debuted with YG.

[NEWS] Big Bang Captivate Worldwide Music Fans!
The five member idol group Big Bang has done it again, this time was featured on MTV China following the meaning of their name the group has made an explosive entrance around the world.
Big Bang has been featured on numerous media all around the world, such as China, Italy, Russia, Czech Republic, and more. It seems the group is taking a big step towards becoming a true world star.
Most recently the group has won the ‘Best Fan’ award at 2012 MTV Italy TRL Awards as the first Asian singer beating out Avril Lavigne, One Direction, Alessandra Amoroso and Emma. Before that Italy’s MTV Style Blog featured the group twice. Last year the group gathered a lot of attention by winning ‘Best Worldwide Act’ at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards held in Northern Ireland.
Recently has been mentioned in Grammy.com that they are making international music waves, as part of the leading emerging new group of stars in Korea in the first decade of the new millennium.
YG Entertainment representative Yang Hyun Suk mentioned in the beginning of releasing the group’s fifth mini-album to be receiving a grand promotion. The album was announced to promote all six songs on ‘Alive’ as title tracks revealing their confidence towards the song quality. It seems the group has upgraded the level of K-Pop all around the world.
In reality there are many instances which Big Bang is representing K-Pop.
Big Bang is currently in preparations to kick off their Japan Arena Tour on May 17 from Nagoya, Osaka, Saitama and Fukuoka.

There seems to be no stopping the K-pop juggernaut, as BigBang — considered Korea's national boy group and undisputed pop culture leaders — beat strong competition from UK boy band One Direction, pop's punk-rocker Avril Lavigne, Italian pop star Alessandra Amoroso and singer Emma to win the Best Fan award at the MTV Italy TRL (Total Request Live) Awards. The awards celebrate the most popular artists and music videos in that country.
Following the announcement, Taeyang (@Realtaeyang) tweeted: "WE WON!!!!! :) yey!!!" and followed it up with, "We have best fans in the world..! Love ya'll."
As testament to this, their fans — known as VIPs — had their victory trending around the world on Twitter yesterday, including in the UAE with the hashtag #BigbangfantasticVIPs.

Big Bang’s airline is getting a lot of attention.
An online community posted pictures with the caption, “Big Bang’s airline arrived in Hong Kong yesterday.” In the pictures, an airplane is covered up with a jacket photo of Big Bang’s mini album Alive, which was released in February.
Sponsorship between Big Bang and an airline created Big Bang airline. On April 30, 7C 150 flight started traveling route from Kimpo Airport to Jeju Island and 12 routes from Seoul to Japan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Thailand will be created. Big Bang will use the airline when they tour Japan.

[NEWS] BIGBANG BECOMES THE FIRST ASIAN ARTIST TO WIN "BEST FAN" AWARD AT 2012 MTV TRL AWARDS
Big Bang became the first Asian artist to win the ‘Best Fan’ category at the 2012 MTV TRL Awards.
The event, which was held in Italy on the evening of May 5, awarded Big Bang as the final winners of the night.
Other nominees of the ‘Best Fan’ category included Avril Lavigne and One Direction, but they were no match for Big Bang, who became the first artists in Asia to ever snag the award.

[NEWS] The K-Pop Explosion - Korean artists such as BIGBANG and Girls' Generation are making international music waves
While South Korea is a vital part of the growing economic boom in Asia, the country of nearly 50 million people is exporting more than just consumer electronics and cars these days. Its native popular music, universally known as K-pop, is also finding a growing international audience in places such as the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and South America. And in other Asian markets, including Japan, it's already big business.
In major U.S. cities such as Chicago, Atlanta and Houston, K-pop concerts have sold out venues seating 1,700 to 2,500 music fans. In 2011 the nine-member dance-pop group Girls' Generation sold out New York's hallowed Madison Square Garden. And in Los Angeles, the Korean Music Festival has been a part of the concert season at the 17,000-plus capacity Hollywood Bowl for the past 10 years. Held this year on April 28, the festival featured performances from Korean artists such as Brown Eyed Girls, Im Tae Kyung, Kim Kyung-Ho, and Lena Park, among others.
