The music video of GD&TAEYANG’s “GOOD BOY” has reached 100 million views on YouTube.
The music video of “GOOD BOY” has surpassed 100 million views as of April 14 in the morning, recording 100,006,085 views on YouTube. In celebration of such record, YG Entertainment posted a congratulatory image for the 100 million view mark on the company’s official blog (www.yg-life.com).
The music video that was released in November, 2014, reached 10 million views on December 2 in the same year and then 50 million views in April last year, consistently setting new records.
Notably, as the music video of GD&TAEYANG’s “GOOD BOY” has surpassed 100 million views on YouTube, BIGBANG became the first Korean boy band who has three music videos that achieved the 100 million view mark on YouTube, following the video of “FANTASTIC BABY” and “BANG BANG BANG”.
Furthermore, as the music video of “LOSER” is also soon to reach 100 million views, recording 91,942,203 views as of April 14, BIGBANG’s worldwide influence is being proven once again.
The music video of “GOOD BOY” was directed by world-famous music video director Colin Tilley and it has drawn big attention for fancy visual and unique camerawork. The video has also stood under big spotlight of major foreign media outlets such as American Billboard, FUSE TV, Complex Magazine, Hypetrak, etc.
Notably, American Billboard ranked the video in No.1 of the “Most-Watched K-Pop Music Videos in America and the World during November, 2014”. The video was also included in the list of “10 Most Stylish Music Videos in 2014” selected by fashion web-magazine Stylit.com.
In the meantime, BIGBANG is currently carrying out China fan meeting tour titled “2016 BIGBANG MADE [V.I.P] TOUR” that began on the 11 last month. In this summer, BIGBANG will hold a concert in celebration of the 10thanniversary of their debut, to meet Korean fans.
