BIGBANG also posted 100 million Youtube views. On January 19, PSY’s “DADDY” reached the 100 million Youtube views mark, and on the same day, his label mate BIGBANG also made the same achievement.
According to Youtube, BIGBANG’s “BANG BANG BANG” MV posted 100 million views at 7 PM on January 19.
The music video of “BANG BANG BANG” was released in June last year, and just after two months and 24 days, it posted 50 million views. The “LOSER” MV, which was released a month before, also posted more than 80 million views. Along with these MVs, other BIGBANG related videos are recording more than 50 million views.
The MV of “FANTASTIC BABY”, which was released in February of 2012, posted 19,830,000 views and is expected to reach the 200 million mark any time now.
Meanwhile, BIGBANG swept the charts last year by releasing two singles every month from May to August – the so-called “MADE” project. According to Gaon Charts, BIGBANG’s “BANG BANG BANG” is no.1 on their January 1 – December 25 2015 digital chart. “LOSER” took the second spot and “BAE BAE”, the four spot on the same chart.
