Whangtaeji, the name given to the team of Kwanghee, GD, and TAEYANG at the Infinite Challenge’s Music Festival, enthralled the audience with their dynamic performance.
The first episode of the 2015 Yongdong Highway Music Festival of Infinite Challenge – MBC’s variety show – was aired on August 22.
On the show, Whangtaeji was the first to go on the stage with their “MAPSOSA”. They wore costumes with spangles and had their hair dyed for the performance. Whangtaeji made the audience cheer loudly just by going up on the stage. GD was especially confident about their performance saying, “I’m worried about the second and third team that will go up the stage after us.”
“MAPSOSA” is about the friendship between the three members – all of them are of the same age born in 1988. Their performance was fabulous even from the beginning. There was fire as a special effect, and the teamwork between Kwanghee, GD, and TAEYANG pumped up the stage. The song caught the ears of the audience with “mapsosa” as its hook.
The performance was splendid thanks to the great teamwork between Kwanghee, GD, and TAEYANG and featured confetti, Bukchung Lions, and Sangmokkun.
The 2015 Yongdong Highway Music Festival of the Infinite Challenge was successfully held at the ski-jump ramp in Pyongchang, Ganwon Province on August 13. Yoo Jae-suk & JYP, Park Myeong-su & IU, Jeong Jun-ha & Yoon Sang, Haha & Zion.T, Jeong Hyeong-don & Band Hyukoh, and Kwanghee & GD & TAEYANG formed teams to perform at the festival.
