[NEWS] BIGBANG’s World Tour a Huge Success, Additional Concert to be Held in Taiwan Just like in Australia
BIGBANG decided to hold an additional concert in Taiwan.
YG Entertainment announced the news on BIGBANG’s official Facebook page at 3 PM on August 20.
BIGBANG’s concert was scheduled to be held at the Taipei Arena only from September 25 to September 27. However, they decided to hold an additional concert on the 24th to meet more fans.
Recently, BIGBANG held an additional concert in Australia after their concert in Sydney turned out to be a great success. BIGBANG’s holding of an additional concert in Taiwan was decided to reciprocate to the fans’ eagerness towards BIGBANG’s world tour concerts, which demonstrates BIGBANG‘s global popularity.
The ticket sale for the additional concert in Taiwan begins at 11 AM on August 29. The ticket sale for BIGBANG’s concert in Macao is also scheduled to begin at 10 AM on August 28. Therefore, it is expected that there will be a fierce competition to buy the tickets.
BIGBANG’s world tour, which began with their concert in Seoul in April, continued on with concerts in Guangzhou, Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Bangkok, and Singapore. The tickets to all their world tour concerts have been sold out.
In August, in addition to promoting their singles, BIGBANG will hold a concert in Hangzhou on August 25 and later in the US, Canada, Australia, and Mexico to meet 1.4 million fans worldwide.
Meanwhile, BIGBANG’s “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE” continues to sweep the charts, taking the No.1 spot on Gaon’s Weekly Chart for two weeks in a row. BIGBANG also topped the three Gaon charts for the 34th week (August 9-August 15) announced on August 20 – its Digital Chart, Streaming Chart, and Albums Chart.
