BIGBANG sings “LOSER” and “BAE BAE” for their comeback stage in INKIGAYO. It’s the first time in three years that the five members of BIGBANG have performed together as one group in a TV show.
BIGBANG sang “LOSER” and “BAE BAE” and put on a near-perfect stage in SBS’s music show INKIGAYO that aired live on May 3.
“BAE BAE” was the first song of BIGBANG’s comeback stage. Each of the members appeared on the stage alone at first, charming the viewers with their unique performances. In the latter part of the song, the five members appeared on the stage together and made the stage hot by dancing with female back dancers. The overall style of the “BAE BAE” performance was eccentric but eye-catching. The “LOSER” performance was also eye-catching and very much BIGBANG-like.
Currently, BIGBANG is sweeping the music charts in Korea, topping the 10 major music charts for three days in a row. As of May 3, “LOSER” – which was released at 12AM on May 1 – became no.1 on the following 10 daily music charts: Melon, Mnet, Bugs, Olleh Music, Genie, Naver Music, Daum Music, Soribada, Monkey 3, Cyworld Music. “BAE BAE” is right behind at the second place.
“LOSER” is also helding fast to no.1 place on iTunes singles charts in Hongkong, Macao, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. This reflects that BIGBANG’s popularity has spread well beyond Korea.
The view counts of BIGBANG’s music videos, which were released along with the songs, are skyrocketing, demonstrating BIGBANG’s power. As of 2 PM May 3, “LOSER” posted 8, 474,517 views on Youtube and “BAE BAE”, 6,234,494 views. Combined, the music videos of these two songs have surpassed 14 million views in just three days after release.
For each of the next four months, BIGBANG will release an album that contains at least one track. Their “MADE” will be released on September 1. Through their world tour that will stretch into 2016, BIGBANG will hold 70 concerts in 15 countries in Asia and America and meet 1.4 million fans worldwide.
Meanwhile, along with BIGBANG, JINUSEAN, Red Velvet, Jimin N Jdon, Gavy NJ, Bangtan Boys, NC.A, Dal Shabet, Blady, Mr.Mr, Lim Kim, Uniq, The Ark, CLC, Rubbersoul, A.cian, Fresh Girls, Oh My Girl, Soyumi, and A-BLE appeared in INKIGAYO on May 3.
