BIGBANG comes back on May 1, after two years and 10 months of absence. So, the YG artist to come back for the first time in 2015 is found to be BIGBANG (G-DRAGON, T.O.P, TAEYANG, DAESUNG, and SEUNGRI).
YG Entertainment (“YG”) posted a teaser image on its official blog YG LIFE on April 1, to announce the fact.
Before that, YG suggested the beginning of its new project on April 1 at 9am, by posting a teaser image showing a dynamite on the blog. Fans have shown high curiosity and interest in who the artist for the project would be.
Some have speculated that JINUSEAN or PSY may come back or iKON may make an official debut. However, the first YG artist to come back in 2015 has been found to be BIGBANG.
The imminent comeback of BIGBANG will be made about three years after “Monster” of “STILL ALIVE” released in June, 2012. As BIGBANG members have grown and evolved a lot during the period of time, fans are showing high expectations and interest in the team’s comeback.
Notably, BIGBANG is a team who has always recorded hit for their new album and been recognized for high-quality music. Plus, as BIGBANG has been working on the new album with their best efforts for a long period of time, an unprecedentedly high-quality music is expected to be born by BIGBANG this time.
Not only Korean fans but also fans around the world are paying keen attention to BIGBANG’s comeback. BIGBANG is one of the boy groups who have the largest number of overseas fans. So far, DAESUNG and TAEYANG have performing as solo artists in Japan, and BIGBANG has come under a spotlight from the foreign media, for example in the United States.
