DJ Skrillex’s “Dirty Vibe,” featuring BIGBANG’s G-DRAGON and 2NE1’s CL is climbing up the chart on Billboard in America.
The song was released in March and the music video on Dec 17. “Dirty Vibe” ranked #15 on Billboard’s Hot Dance-Electronic Songs Chart on Dec 29. It garnered much popularity at the time of release in the States, but it is climbing up the chart even now.
In the music video, GD and CL showcase some dynamic and bold fashion while rapping both in English and Korean. American media like Billboard and Fuse TV extolled the two, saying that their attitude stands out most. They are not just ordinary K-Pop stars, but are artists who break away from the norm and rules.
As the belated music video attracts much attention, the song itself is showered in spotlight again. It ranked within the top 10 on Billboard 200 Chart in March, while the album “Recess” topped iTunes World Album Chart.
